Unicorn School is a comprehensive, nonpublic, nonsectarian school providing special education services in a Special Day Class setting to students in grades 6-12. We offer a full day educational program that meets or exceeds state standards in all content areas. An integrated behavior program supports student learning. In addition social work services are provided by an on site social worker to help our students meet their behavioral and social goals.

As students progress in their academics and behavior, they have the opportunity to transition to a public day school for a part or full school day. It is the policy of Unicorn School to encourage participation in public school and place students in the least restrictive environment consistent with educational and behavioral needs.

Unicorn School is state certified to provide instruction to students diagnosed with Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Intellectual Disabilities (mild to moderate), and Specific Learning Disabilities, as well as students identified as Other Health Impaired. Services are provided at not cost to families through the IEP process.
